04.12.2025 First single "Get UP!" is now yours!

One year and 4 days after the very start of what would be d'Oriane, our first single is now yours. It's a song for our youth, young people locked in their own buble and missing the purpose of life. It's the first single of our upcoming EP which will hold a total of 4 songs. This song will also be the main big thing on the release party on the 20th of december in De Blaaspijp Koekelare (20:00). All benefits will of this evening will be donated to De Warmste Week in Genk.

25.08.2025 August mini tour 2025

With the addition of a 3rd gig (replacement of the band Strings and Voices who's leadsinger was ill) only two days before the 22nd, a feel of mini tour came to the band which we were very grateful for. Playing all these new songs for the first time was very exciting and we got a lot of kind and lovely comments about them and the band. 20.07.2025 Birth of D'Oriane and website online

How it all began…It all started with our first band, Bailey On The Rocks. Originally created as an Elles Bailey tribute band, it gradually evolved into a mix of original songs, Elles Bailey covers, and other rootsy favourites.In the summer of 2025, when D’O and Steph began writing new material, they felt the urge to create a separate project—something that could stand apart from the tribute band. While discussing this with their friend Dave Barnes from the Canadian band Bywater Call, he encouraged them to find a band name that would clearly distinguish their new artistic path.Katrien had already chosen D’O as her artist name, and when combining that with the “-ane” from Stéphane’s name, D’Oriane was born. Coincidentally (or maybe not), “Dorian” is also a musical scale often used in blues and roots music—right up their alley. In French, “D’eau” (or de l'eau) means “from the water”, which felt like a perfect fit, since D’O and Stéphane live by the sea near Ostend, Belgium. Everything just seemed to click.In just a few weeks, D’O and Steph wrote a whole bunch of songs, and what started as a spark quickly turned into a plan—or perhaps a dream—to record their debut album.
